Over the Victoria Day weekend, the Waterdown Wolves Major Rookie team brought home a gold medal at the Woodstock Rookie Ball Tournament. While rain dampened some of Saturday’s games, the Wolves pulled through with amazing skill to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday. Under sunny skies and with grit and determination the Wolves beat Peterborough in the semi-final game. Playing their sixth game of the weekend, the team brought all they had and won their final game against Woodstock 8-5. The team includes Chase Moore, Luke Muldoon, Carter Buchanan, Brenden Ott, Ashton Young, Douglas Kunihiro, Niko Porco, Makai Matheson, Ryan Rol, Nicholas Sherman, Jackson Cassan, Brodie Lawlor and Nickolas Napoleone. A big thanks to all the dedicated coaches!!
